Matt Human is a bassist, composer, teacher,  and bandleader based in Denver, Colorado. He has worked professionally as a musician since 1997 including performances throughout the United States, Germany, Brazil,  and on cruise ships.   With reading and improvising skills Matt has the ability to fit into many varied musical settings, although he most passionate about playing jazz. Matt currently leads his own trio, and also plays bass as a side man in Colorado. Matt has spent considerable time and effort transcribing his favorite bassists, transcribing more than 150 pages of bass lines and solos by Ray Brown, Paul Chambers, Sam Jones, John Patitucci, Ron Carter, Lincoln Goines, Paul Jackson, Dave Holland, John Clayton, Israel Crosby Charles Mingus,  Andre Vasconcellos and others.
